DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU

Arrive at Kathmandu’s International Airport and from there you will be greeted and picked up by Satyam Tours & Travels representative who will be escorting you to your pre-booked accommodation at Kathmandu. Check-in to the hotel, have some meals. Overnight in Kathmandu.


DAY 02: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING

Today’s day is going to be really fascinating since you will be indulging in the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Have some breakfast and then head towards the Pashupatinath Temple, Guhyeswari temple and also the Jal Narayan Vishnu temple. At evening, be a part of the short briefing session at your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.


DAY 03: KATHMANDU TO NYALAM VIA KODARI BORDER

This day drive towards the border of Nepal & China from where you will be starting your journey to Nyalam. On reaching the border, firstly complete all the custom and immigration formalities and once done, you will have to cross the Friendship Bridge by walk. On arriving at China, you will be meeting the Chinese guide and from there he will be further assisting your transfer to Nyalam. Check-in at your pre-booked guesthouse/lodge. Overnight in Nyalam.


DAY 04: NYALAM - FREE DAY FOR ACCLIMATIZATION

Today you will spending the whole day at Nyalam where you will be acclimatizing yourself in the Nyalam’s weather by staying at your hotel/guesthouse or doing the short treks.


DAY 05: NYALAM TO SAGA

Have some tasty breakfast and then start your drive towards Saga or New Dongba while crossing the highly beautiful Brahmaputra River (Yarlung Tsangpo). Stay overnight at a guesthouse/hotel in Saga or New Dongba.


DAY 06: SAGA TO LAKE MANSAROVAR

Today morning, start your day with a delicious breakfast and then drive for 7-8 hours towards Manasarovar. Apart from this, you are also going to have the first view of Mount Kailash. Reach Manasarovar and stay overnight at a dormitory styled lodge near Lake Manasarovar.


DAY 07: MANSAROVAR LAKE TO DARCHEN

Wake up early morning and take a holy bath at the holy Lake Manasarovar and also, we shall arrange a puja on the banks of Lake Manasarovar (direct payment basis). Once done, have some breakfast and then start your drive towards Darchen. On reaching there, stay overnight at your lodge/guesthouse in Darchen.


DAY 08: DARCHEN TO DIRAPUKH, 1ST DAY TREKKING

Once done with some tasty breakfast, drive towards Yam Dwar and then start your trek towards Dirapuk. Reach there and stay overnight at your lodge/guesthouse at Dirapuk.


DAY 09: DIRAPUKH TO ZUTHULPHUK, 2ND DAY TREKKING

Wake up early morning and then see the Golden View of Mount Kailash. After that, have some breakfast and then continue with your Kora/circumambulation towards reaching Zuthulphuk. Arrive there and then stay overnight at your dormitory styled lodge/guesthouse at Zuthulphuk.


DAY 10: ZUTHULPUKH TO DARCHEN, DRIVE TO SAGA

Start your day with the last trek towards Darchen. Reach Darchen, have some lunch and from there continue your drive towards Saga. Stay in a pre-booked hotel/lodge/guesthouse at Saga.


DAY 11: SAGA TO NYALAM

Have some breakfast and then start your drive towards Nyalam (215 km, 5 to 6 hrs drive).


DAY 12: NYALAM TO KATHMANDU VIA KODARI BORDER

After breakfast, start your drive from Nyalam in order to reach the Friendship Bridge. On reaching there, complete some custom and immigration formalities, and then further continue your drive towards Kathmandu. Arrive at Kathmandu and then stay overnight at a pre-booked accommodation there.


DAY 13: KATHMANDU (DEPARTURE)

Today is the last day of your Kailash Yatra via Nyalam tour package. Morning is free for personal activities; you will check out from the hotel. Have lunch in the hotel and you will be transferred to Kathmandu’s airport for flying back to home/onward destination.

Note: There can be changes in the Itinerary according to the weather, Flight operation and other emergencies.

Therefore, Tour Times. Ltd and its counterpart shall not be responsible for any change and alteration in the program due to unavoidable circumstances such as landslide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, and cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents.

  • Age Limit: 18 to 70 years
  • Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen (foreign nationals, including OCI cardholders, are not eligible)
  • Physical fitness: Must be medically fit for a high-altitude trek. A medical fitness certificate from a doctor is mandatory
  • Passport: Must have a valid Indian passport with a minimum of six months validity from the start of the Yatra

  • Pony/porters for personal use which will cost 4000 yuan (approximately Inr: 50000)
  • Rescue, evacuation charge or any travel insurance
  • Extra cost because of separation from the main group or any kind of serious health conditions

Overview

Adi Kailash is the divine abode of Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati Devi. It is believed that Lord Shiva meditates in this mountain with his family. Adi Kailash is one of the Panch Kailash according to Hindu Mythology. OM Parvat and Adi Kailash are considered very sacred in Hinduism. Just a darshan of it can make your inner self enlightened and cleansed. It is believed that the cosmic energy that is prevalent here can transform a person. It is here that King Ravana meditated and was blessed by Almighty Shiva with the strength of 20 arms and brains of 10 head. A picturesque journey, it is sure to rejuvenate ones body, mind and soul.
